Real sells patents and next-gen-video codec to Intel

RealNetworks sells a large amount of patents to Intel, as well as its next-generation video software and codec, as the company has announced. The transfer is an amount of 120 million dollars involved.

Approximately 190 patents and 170 patent applications as part of the sale to Intel. Also the company sells next-generation video codec and related software to Intel, that also the team that is responsible inlijft. Total pay Intel 120 million dollars to RealNetworks.
