Samsung has in Germany the Galaxy Tab 10.1 N released, which includes a slightly modified housing. This change hopes the manufacturer under the sales ban, that was recently published by a German court, was imposed.

The Tab 10.1 N appeared first in a German shop, which shows that it is a new model. From a comparison with the banned model shows that the metal edge to the tablet surface in more overlaps, which Samsung probably hopes that the changed design enough to not infringe more on the design right of Apple. The Korean manufacturer has however no information yet about the new model to come out.

It is a small adjustment, which remains unclear or Samsung, this model should continue to sell. You may need Apple for the Tab 10.1 N an indictment in the German court. The company in Cupertino has not yet commented on the matter.

Samsung did something similar in the Netherlands, but when in software field. A judge decided that the Korean manufacturer is no longer his Galaxy S II was allowed to sell it because the picture gallery app infringed on patents of Apple. The company then delivered immediately to the infringing element will be replaced, making the sale was not discontinued.

Although the Samsung was forbidden to use his tablet in Germany to sell, said the German court is also against Apple: it has recently been the Apple forbidden to ‘mobile devices’ in Germany to sell. In the ruling, however, was not called for any mobile devices, so there is uncertainty about the impact.
