Without much publicity has Nvidia a new graphics card for laptops released. The GTX 965M is built around a Maxwell GM204 gpu, yet with less cudacores than the version for the GTX 970M and 980M.

Nvidia has the GTX 965M with specifications on its site. Compared to the GTX 980M and the GTX 970M with the same gpu has Nvidia in the GTX 965M less cuda cores activated and also the geheugeninterface is with 128bit a lot less wide-dimensioned. The better architecture of Maxwell compared to its predecessor, Kepler must ensure that the video card is still a performance and consumption are male is opposed to the GTX 870M. The GTX 965M would be the GTX 870M, which is on paper better specifications, partly to follow.

It is unclear yet whether the card with 2GB, 4GB or both configurations in laptops appears. The speed of the gddr5 memory amounts to anyway effective 5GHz. The gpu coreclock is running at 924MHz with GPU Boost 2.0, the clock speed is variable up to adapt. In any case, the Dutch laptopfabrikant BTO is going to laptops with the new gpu deliver. When the other gpu’s in the 900M series will appear is not known.
