The social network Netlog, which became especially popular in Flanders, it quits. The administrators inform the users about the stop of the social network. Netlog has the competition lost its competitor, Facebook.

Parent company Massive Media has the url of Netlog let it redirect to the dating site Twoo, writes the belgian newspaper De Morgen. Netlog has let users know that they have information of their account to be able to download. All of the accounts go automatically to Twoo.

Netlog is regarded as the Flemish counterpart of the Dutch Hyves, which is also in the competition lost to Facebook, and the doors had to close. Netlog has been active in twenty countries. The site has, according to The Morning currently 94 million accounts.
