Apple has Rotterdam, the first Dutch city with a 3d view in Apple Maps. The feature is already available for American cities, but it is the first time that the 3d function works in the Netherlands.

With the 3d view, users can by aircraft made see images of Rotterdam as the port look it up in Apple Maps, the kaartenprogramma by default on iPhones and iPads. The function is working since 2012 for some American and European cities, but places in the Benelux were missing until now.

It-student, Robbin, de Kruyff noticed that the 3d view and flyover works, then iCulture first wrote about. The 3d function works as yet only for the city of Rotterdam. For the other major cities in the Benelux, including Amsterdam, Antwerp and Brussels, can Apple users still do not make use of the display of vliegtuigbeelden in Apple Maps.
