HP is Friday with the sale of the touch Pad started. The first tablet with WebOS, the manufacturer will not yet for sale in the Netherlands. Reviewers prices the software of the device, but rate the hardware as a medium.
In the US, is HP Friday with the sale of its long-awaited TouchPad tablet started. Published this week the first reviews of the device. Generally, reviewers are pleased with the ease of use of WebOS on the tablet, as Thisismynext, but the hardware is, among others, by Slashgear as ‘cheap feeling’ and is not specifically considered.
The 16GB and 32GB versions of the TouchPad costs in the U.S., respectively 499 and 599 dollar. Over a few days should also the sale in the United Kingdom, France, Ireland and Germany from the start. In Germany the 16GB and 32GB versions, respectively, 479 and 579 euro of the hand.
When the TouchPad in the Netherlands in the trade can HP Tweakers.net not yet say. That will at least not in the short term. “The netherlands does not belong to the countries that HP gives priority to new releases,” reads the statement.
The TouchPad includes a 1.2 GHz Snapdragon processor with two cores. It’s a 9.7″touchscreen has a resolution of 1024×768 pixels. Furthermore the device under other 802.11 n-wi-fi, bluetooth, and a 1.3-megapixel camera.
