TikTok has started rolling out TikTok Notes: a new photo sharing app from parent company ByteDance. The app can currently be found in the Canadian app stores of Apple and Google. It is not clear when a worldwide release will follow.
Android Authority writes that users of the app will be shown a grid of photos, allowing multiple images to be seen at the same time. Promotional material shows that TikTok accounts can also be linked to the new app and that photos can also be provided with extensive captions. It also seems to be possible to post multiple images per post, as is the case with Instagram. ByteDance has now also put an official website for TikTok Notes online. At the time of writing, TikTok Notes can only be found in the Canadian app stores of Apple and Google. It is not clear when a release in the Netherlands and Belgium will follow.
