Radxa has released a single-board computer with a small form factor that resembles the Raspberry Pi Zero. That model measures 65x36mm and has connectors for a display, a camera and two USB-C ports. At 63 euros, the model is considerably more expensive than the small Pi.

The Radxa Zero 2 Pro is a small single-board computer based on an Amlogic A311D CPU. That SoC has four Cortex A73 cores at 2.2GHz and two Cortex A53 cores at 1.8GHz, and an Arm G52 MP4 GPU. According to the manufacturer, this CPU is suitable for small deep learning tasks with a maximum of 5 tops. The model also has 4 or 8GB of Lpddr4 memory and 16GB, 32GB or 64GB of built-in eMMC storage, in addition to the option to insert a microSD card into the device. There are also 802.11 b/g/n/ac-Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.0 with Bluetooth Low Energy on the device.

In addition to 40 GPIO pins, the Zero 2 Pro also has a MIPI DSI connection for a display and a MIPI CSI connection for a camera. There are two USB-C ports on the board, including a Type 2.0 for power supply and a Type 3.0.

With a size of 65x36mm, the device is only a few millimeters larger than the Raspberry Pi Zero, which is perhaps the most comparable. While the most recent model, the 2 W, costs about 23 euros, the Radxa model costs 63 euros. In addition, the model is currently only available at two web shops.
