Days Gone developer Bend Studio is working on a new 'AAA live service game'. This can be read in a vacancy for a senior project manager. It states that the developer is looking for a talent who can join the effort to create the 'next high-profile AAA title'.
According to the job description, the game studio is looking for someone who is able to plan release schedules based on a live roadmap. In addition, at least five years of experience in project management in the games industry and in leading teams developing AAA live service games are required. It is not clear whether the game has a zombie theme just like Days Gone.
Bend Studio is part of Sony Interactive Entertainment and developed Days Gone for the PlayStation 4, the PS Vita game Uncharted: Golden Abyss, among others. and the Siphon Filter games for the original PlayStation, PlayStation 2 and PS Portable. In 2021 it was announced that Bend Studio was working on a new open world game. In 2022, it was also described that the new IP builds on the open world systems from Days Gone. Now it appears to be a live service game, although it cannot be said with certainty that it is the same project.
