The university intends to promote 30 “highly meritorious people from the whole world” to honorary doctorates during the “jubilee year of the promotion” in 2023.
One of the lucky ones is the Swedish climate prophet Greta Thunberg.

Finland's president Sauli Niinistö is one of the people who will receive the award from the philosophy faculty, writes Hufvudstadsbladet.
Greta has previously also received an honorary doctorate at a Belgian university.
