Connected cars: the new center for cybersecurity is born in Italy

On the topic of cybersecurity applied to the automotive industry, comes the news that NTT DATA has announced the birth in Italy of the Global Automotive Security Test Center. Specifically, it is a center where it will be possible to carry out safety tests on connected cars with a focus on protection against cyber attacks.

The connected vehicle market represents a field where it is increasingly becoming more and more; necessary to ensure security and defense against exposure to cyber attacks. The new NTT DATA Center aims to respond to ever-changing cyber threats by working closely with customers. Marco Garelli, Head of Automotive at NTT DATA Italia, explains:

We want to apply our skills gained in the world of cybersecurity to the connected cars sector. Thanks to our Global Automotive Security Test Center, NTT DATA becomes an international point of reference for protecting connected cars from Cyber ​​attacks and guaranteeing driver safety.

THE FIRST PROJECT

According to it is been told, the first project of this new center was completed; carried out in collaboration with Marelli and C2A Security.
