With Philips Hue Festavia, Signify is launching a smart chain of lights just in time for Christmas, which is intended to create a colorful ambience or a colorful Christmas tree with various effects.
250 mini leds and gradient color gradient
The chain of lights has a total length of 20 meters, over which 250 adjustable mini LEDs are distributed. It should be suitable for attachment to the Christmas tree or for decorating the house. Like all of the manufacturer's smart lamps and lights, the chain of lights is controlled via the Signify Philips Hue app. In addition to the color, the user can also set the brightness, so Festavia is dimmable, or switch the chain of lights on and off.
For example, time-controlled switching on and off can be controlled via automations or a timer can be configured. The light chain can also be synced to the music with Spotify or Samsung SmartThings to flash, glow and change color to match the music, which requires a Zigbee connection and an internet connection.
By setting several different color points in the app, a gradient color gradient can be created along the chain of lights, so the chain of lights does not have to glow in the same color over its entire length. The user can set five color tones in the RGBW spectrum, so not all 250 mini-LEDs can be controlled individually.
