After the T-Force VULCANα with DDR5-6000 CL38 and AMD EXPO for the recently introduced Zen 4 RDNA 2 processors of the AMD Ryzen 7000 product family (test), the memory manufacturer Team Group presented the T-Force Delta RGB new memory kits with up to 7,600 MT/s, which are optimized for Core-i-13000 (“Raptor Lake”).

DDR5-7600 CL36 for Intel Raptor Lake

The Taiwanese memory manufacturer Team Group has presented a total of thirteen DDR5 memory kits for Intel Alder Lake, Intel Raptor Lake and AMD Raphael, with the particularly high-clocking models being particularly suitable for the Core i 13000 series. Intel XMP 3.0 is offered, but its counterpart AMD EXPO is not supported. But Zen 4 CPUs can also use Intel XMP 3.0 without any problems.

The T-Force Delta RGB series is optimized for the new chipsets Z790 and H770 from Intel and has been evaluated on corresponding motherboards with socket LGA1700 from Asus, ASRock, Biostar, Gigabyte and MSI with a development pattern of a Core i9-13900K. According to the manufacturer, the new DDR5 memory kits offer the following set of features.

Team Group T-Force Delta RGB – Highlights

  • Decent Aluminum heat conducting plates (heat spreaders) in black with integrated ARGB lighting in the crown.
  • A particularly efficient on-board PMIC, a so-called power management IC, which serves as an integrated circuit for the energy management of the memory chips.
  • Support for the Intel Extreme Memory Profile (“XMP”) in the version 3.0 for Alder Lake and Raptor Lake.
  • Memory speeds from 4,800 MT/s to 7,600 MT/s.
  • CAS memory latencies from 40 to 34 clock cycles.
  • Operating voltages from 1.1 to 1.4 V.

Zen 4 processors such as AMD Ryzen 9 7950X and Ryzen 7 7700X (test) on the AM5 platform can also be operated with the memory kits without further ado, but DDR5-6000 is the sweet spot here, which is why low-latency memory kits are likely to be better will be suitable for AMD Raphael.
