Economics. Villa owners who receive expensive electricity bills can have their new contribution paid already this year, reports TT.

The home owner allowance must – regardless of government – is financed by Svenska kraftnät's capacity fees and is supposed to provide compensation for certain effects of inflation to those households that are a little better off.
The support was supposed to start being paid out to Swedish home owners in 2023. But now it seems as the proposal has been mangled through the Swedish bureaucracy – where many civil servants are just villa owners – faster than anyone could have anticipated.
– It is not locked in that it will happen in 2023, but it could be sometime this year or next year, says Malin Stridh, who is head of the electricity market at Svenska kraftnät, to TT.
It was the Social Democrats who gave Svenska kraftnät the task of coming up with a proposal for how the home owner subsidy should be paid out.
