Skoda wanted to create a concept , for the moment only digital, of an electric racing car . It is called Skoda Vision GT and, due to its design, the manufacturer is & egrave; inspired by the Skoda 1100 OHC, a racing car from the past. Apparently it will not arrive. never on the road. However, the name & quot; Vision GT & quot; brings to mind the world of the Gran Turismo racing video game . Nothing & egrave; has been said about it but the name could be an important clue … From this point of view it is not possible to do anything other than wait for an eventual official communication.
ACTIVE AERODYNAMICS 
Returning to the concept, Skoda says that the Vision GT & egrave; a red-colored open-air racing car. It is a single-seater with the driver sitting in the center of the vehicle. Above the carbon steering wheel is a flat bar that acts as a windshield. All the most important driving information is projected directly onto the driver's helmet visor, like a head-up display . The cockpit is designed to optimally compensate for acceleration forces.
The design also takes its cue from that of the Formula E single-seaters, as is well understood by the two-piece rear wing. This electric racing car features active aerodynamics which also ensures optimum driving performance in every situation. Nothing & egrave; it was said, however, about the powertrain. So, we know nothing about the engine, battery and performance of this electric racing car.
The computer-animated model is; was developed by Skoda Design and & egrave; exhibited in Brussels, at the exhibition & ldquo; Design and Transformation & rdquo; organized under the EU Presidency of the Czech Republic.
