Audi is working on the new generation of its Q5 SUV. For the house of the 4 rings it is a very important model since the Q5 is; one of its most successful SUVs in terms of sales. The next generation will continue to be proposed with endothermic engines, also electrified (Mild Hybrid and Plug-in), although the German brand is concentrating more and more; on 100% electric cars.
Now, a forklift truck of the new Audi Q5 is; was intercepted on the roads of southern Europe intent on carrying out a test session. Although the new spy photos show a still heavily camouflaged car, some interesting things can be seen. On both sides & egrave; there is a flap. This detail, together with some specific stickers on the car, makes it clear that the forklift protagonist of the images is; a Plug-in hybrid model .
The photographers who took the images think it is the high-performance model of the SUV. If that were really the case, this version of the Q5 should also have quattro all-wheel drive. There will be; however, a way to find out more details on the next Q5 given that the presentation still lacks some time. In fact, we talk about next year.
Returning to the spy photos, you can & ograve; note how the aspect ratio of the SUV are not very different from those of the current generation. The new Q5 appears to be slightly longer; long. Larger dimensions could lead to an improvement in the space available to passengers. Unfortunately, the new shots don't allow you to take a look inside. However, you can & ograve; easily think that Audi will introduce & agrave; all the latest technologies that today find a place inside its latest models. So, we will certainly have a latest generation infotainment system .
And as for the internal combustion engines, the car manufacturer should use the same units & agrave; which will find their place within the next generation of Audi A4. All that remains is to wait for the arrival of new information to better understand the direction that the development of this car is taking.
