Buy iPhone 14 in the Netherlands: these are the prices

The iPhone 14 is available in four variants. What are the iPhone 14 prices in the Netherlands and which models can you choose from? You can read it on this page!

Are there any iPhone 14 cases yet?
Yes! You can already buy suitable iPhone 14 cases at many stores, but keep in mind that the cheap brands may have a less good fit because they were not designed in consultation with Apple, but are based on industry rumors. /p>

With the more expensive brands such as Otterbox and Nomad, there is closer cooperation with Apple, so that the covers are better suited to the new models. Unfortunately, that also means that they are often a bit more expensive: count on around 50 euros for a case from a good brand. At Apple, the prices of the cases (like everything else) have even gone up slightly. The silicone covers now cost 59 euros (was 55 euros). Check out our overview of iPhone 14 cases if you want to know more.

Pre-order and delivery times

Once the pre-order has started, it's a good idea to keep an eye on the iPhone 14 delivery times and stock before running to the store. This way you are better informed about where to go and you don't make an unnecessary trip.

iPhone 14 pre-order tips

The tips below will help you be sure that nothing can go wrong with the pre-order of the iPhone 14.

#1 Mark your device as a favorite

Because almost all devices come out at the same time (except the iPhone 14 Plus), there is more choice than ever this year. Therefore, quickly mark your favorite iPhone 14, so that ordering in advance goes as smoothly as possible. Do this before the Apple Store goes offline on Friday morning, preferably before Friday 9 September. After that it doesn't work anymore.

Mark the products you have chosen as favorites, including any accessories you want to order. When it's 2:00 PM on Friday afternoon and the Apple Store opens, you won't have to search long. You browse for the favourites, add them to your shopping cart and pay. This way you don't waste time with unnecessary browsing for the right product and you don't get distracted by all kinds of other lures. Moreover, you can now take your time and decide what you want. This way you avoid errors.

#2 First pre-order your iPhone, then the rest

You can of course click together an iPhone 14 case, cables and all kinds of other accessories, but that takes time. If you're smart, you buy in two parts: reserve the iPhone first, so you'll be done with it quickly. After that, you can always think about cables and covers. They are always still in stock. In fact, you can already order covers and other accessories before the pre-order starts.

#3 Choose the fastest webshop or provider

The preorder of the iPhone 14 is, just like in previous years, on Friday afternoon at 2:00 PM. That's a perfect time: you don't have to get out of bed early and have plenty of time to sit down after lunch. Of course you can not only go to the Apple Store, but also to various providers and web shops. So look beyond just Apple and choose a provider or store that has your model in stock. You could also place an order at two stores, but your credit card or bank account must offer enough leeway for this.

#4 Choose a quiet place for the iPhone pre-order

By Friday afternoon you will have completed the most important work of the week, so switch off your phone, set your MacBook to Do Not Disturb and sit back and relax. You still have a quiet moment before the Friday afternoon drink goes wild. An ideal time to focus on the iPhone 14 pre-order. Find a quiet space and make sure you don't have any nagging from roommates or colleagues.

#5 Do not pay with iDEAL

Payments via iDEAL can sometimes take a little more time. As a result, you are insecure for a longer period of time whether the order has gone through properly. Choose to pay by credit card if you have the option.

#6 Be ready well before 14:00

Don't wait until 1:59 PM to start pre-ordering. It is useful to open the website of your provider fifteen minutes in advance and have things ready, such as your credit card and information about your current subscription.

Some providers start ‘accidentally’ sometimes a little earlier, while the Apple Store is usually a little later. It would be a shame to suddenly find out that the pre-orders have been going on for a while, which means that the delivery time has already increased.

Another good tip for the Apple Store: use the Apple Store app, because it often goes back online before the website.

#7 Check your current contract with your provider

If you want an iPhone 14 with a subscription, it is wise to check in advance how long your current contract is still running and whether it is time to renew. Or maybe you want to switch to another provider? In that case, you could already view the subscriptions and data bundles, so that you know what your options are.

All providers and web stores will include the iPhone 14 in their range, in all models. However, they often provide little information about stocks, because they themselves do not know how many devices they will receive and when. They depend on Apple for this.

The iPhone 14 series is available at these stores and providers:
T-Mobile | Tele2 | Mobiel.nl | KPN | Vodafone | Belsimpel.nl

You can also contact these providers:
Amac | Amazon | Coolblue | YourMacStore | BCC | Bol.com | Belsimpel.nl | Mobiel.nl | MediaMarkt

Why pre-order?

Apple always announces the new iPhones during an event. A few days later the pre-order starts and then the devices are delivered.

In the past, people would queue up at the Apple Store days in advance to make sure they were the first to get their hands on the device. Because this grew into an advertising caravan for all kinds of repair and rental companies, Apple stopped it. For us as users, it's nice that Apple has switched to pre-orders. Everyone has equal opportunities and it does not cost you a night's sleep. Those who are fast will receive early deliveries and those who cannot leave the house due to work or other obligations simply have the device delivered to their home. You can still pick it up in the store.

You no longer have to get an iPhone in Germany or France to get the device quickly, because the Netherlands and Belgium are currently in the first group of countries.

iPhone pre-order at Apple, how does that work?

If you want to participate in the iPhone pre-order, you have to take into account with a number of things.

This is how it works:

  1. Be ready around 2:00 PM on Friday, September 9.
  2. The Apple Store often goes offline a few hours in advance. You can start placing your order as soon as the website comes back online.
  3. Go to Apple.nl on your computer or use the app. The latter is often faster.
  4. Make sure you have already marked the desired products as favourites.
  5. Make sure you have your Apple ID, delivery address and payment information to hand.
  6. Make sure you know which iPhone 14 you want. You can choose from several models, colors and storage variants.

iPhone 14 pre-order from providers

All Dutch and Belgian providers will use the iPhone 14 include in the range. They don't announce the prices until the last minute. However, the pre-order works in the same way: make sure you are ready in time with your customer data and payment information. It is a good idea to check in advance via the website of your provider whether you are eligible for an extension and what your current contract is.
