Xcode Cloud with Paid Bundles

With Xcode Cloud you can build apps, run automated tests and get feedback from users. It was announced at WWDC 2021 and then spent more than a year in private beta, with invitation-only access. Now Apple is expanding it: any registered developer can sign up for more compute hours in Xcode Cloud, if needed.

At WWDC 2022, Apple already expanded access to the Xcode Cloud a little more: then all developers access to the free bundle of 25 calculation hours per month. Those who need more can upgrade from today. There are three bundles:

  • 100 computing hours for $49.99 per month
  • 250 computing hours for $99.99 per month
  • 1000 computing hours for $399, 99 per month

Free bundle will disappear in due course
According to Apple, developers can switch bundles at any time. The free bundle of 25 calculation hours also still exists, but will be paid in due course. From 2024 you will pay $14.99 per month for it. A calculation hour is an hour of time that is needed to perform a task in the cloud, such as building an app or running a test. You can see how many hours you have used via App Store Connect and the Apple Developer app.

More details about Xcode Cloud can be found on the Apple Developer website.
