In the past week, the community has not only been clear about the RAM OC benchmarks for the Ryzen 7 5800X3D with DDR4-3800CL16, but also about the preferred gaming monitor and staying on Windows 10 Voting results shown.

Community wants the AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D with DDR4-3800CL16

In last week's tests and reports, the RAM OC comparison between AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D and Intel Core i7-12700K and i9-12900K comes first. The three processors were allowed to duel again in benchmarks, but this time with overclocked RAM, with the Ryzen 7 using 5800X3D DDR4-3800CL16, the Core i7-12700K, on the other hand, relies on DDR4-4000CL16 and the i9-12900K on DDR5-6800CL32. At the end of the benchmarks, a more efficient AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D faces Intel's Alder Lake platform, which is more modern in terms of mainboard and chipset. With the i7-12700K, however, the gain from the OC is not outstanding. The Intel Core i-9 12900K with DDR5 can set itself apart from the other two processors – at the expense of power consumption. In the survey in the test, the community definitely has a clear favorite. With currently around 83 percent, the readers favor the AMD Ryzen 7 5800X3D with DDR4-3800CL16.

Which monitor for gaming?

In second place is the question to the community as to which monitor is used for gaming on the PC or the console. According to the current status of the survey, the majority uses an IPS panel for the primary monitor, with image quality and color space being rated the most important before refresh rate. However, the UHD resolution only comes second with our readers, most of whom use a monitor with WQHD resolution, i.e. 2,560 × 1,440 pixels. In line with the importance of the refresh rate, the majority are already opting for a model with 144 to 165 Hz. In terms of size, 27 inches are the favourite, which means that the classic gamer monitor with WQHD, 27 inches and 165 Hz enjoys the greatest popularity in the community .

Intel ARC A380 can also positively surprise

The first test was followed by further tests on the Intel ARC A380 from Gunnir, including AMD Ryzen, overclocking and fan control of the graphics card, in third place. This time the test even has positive surprises in store.

75 percent are waiting for Windows 10

In contrast, the 22H2 update for Windows 10 is in first place in the news of the last week. However, Windows 10 22H2 does not contain any new functions, so that Windows 10 21H2 could actually have been the last feature update from Microsoft for Windows 10 – Microsoft's focus is on Windows 11. In the community, however, not by a long shot, because the survey in The report reveals that more than 75 percent of readers have not yet switched from Windows 10 to Windows 11. So far, the main reason given for staying with Windows 10 is that there is no reason to switch and that people are satisfied with Windows 10. In addition, many readers do not like the new start menu in Windows 11.

For all those who have already switched to Windows 11 and do not like the new start menu, be open again -Recommended source tool ExplorerPatcher, which brings back the old start menu.
