With the help of AI tools and the DaVinci Neural Engine, which has been specially optimized for the Apple M1, M1 Pro, M1 Max and M1 Ultra, work steps are to be significantly accelerated. The developers speak of “up to 300 percent more performance” when using an M1 Pro.

The DaVinci Neural Engine, which relies on AI and deep learning in real time, is that reserved for paid DaVinci Resolve Studio. Blackmagic Design has listed all differences to the free version on a corresponding website.
