Buienradar on Apple Watch

You may remember that around 2018 all kinds of Apple Watch apps disappeared. After Rabobank, Telegraaf, NU, Amazon, Google Maps, Twitter and the regional broadcasters, Buienradar's Apple Watch app eventually disappeared. For a long time we heard nothing more from the Apple Watch app and it was unclear whether a comeback would be worked on. That is indeed the case: the app is back on the Apple Watch and also offers a complication to open quickly.

Buienradar's Apple Watch app must have been brought back during the month of June, without the release notes mentioning it. We're guessing this was in version 4.3.5 or 4.3.6. So it's high time to put the app back on your Apple Watch! You can do this by going to the App Store on your Apple Watch, or by tapping the Install button in the Watch app on your iPhone.

After that, you can add the watch face complication. And as we always have to explain: a complication is óók a kind of widget on your watch face and not just a medical concept. After tapping the complication you will see the last opened screen. Complications come in multiple sizes: an extra wide one for your Infograaf Modular watch face or a small circle for your Meridian watch face.

The app consists of three screens: the rainfall radar with the course of the showers over the country, a rain graph that indicates what time a shower will fall and an information screen with the forecast for the next hour in degrees Celsius, number of mm's of rain, wind speed. and expected wind gusts.

There are more weather apps for the Apple Watch with complications, so if you're looking for something different, there's plenty of choice.
