We hardly watch traditional TV anymore. Streaming video services like Apple TV+ (try for free), Netflix, Disney+ and Amazon Prime Video are more important than ever. But local providers such as Videoland, CineMember and Ziggo also have plenty to offer. More series are added every week and it is nice to know which series, films and documentaries really stand out. We have therefore made a selection.

New on Apple TV+: Black Bird

A new thrilling psychological thriller is on Apple TV+: Black Bird with Taron Egerton. The first two episodes are now streaming. The series is based on a true story: the son of a celebrated American football player is sentenced to 10 years in prison and given the choice of serving his sentence or befriending a suspected serial killer, Larry, in a maximum security prison. Hall (played by Hauser). Seizing his chance to get out early, Keene must find out where the bodies of several young girls are hidden. But will Hall reveal his secret?
