Abroad. Now 18 people from North Africa have been identified from a mob as sexually assaulted girls and young women in Milan on New Year's Eve. It reports Italian media.

The mob is said to have abused at least nine different victims in Piazza del Duomo in Milan during New Year's night.
A high-profile video shows how two crying and terrified teenage girls are surrounded by the perpetrators during a blockade before they manage to escape from the place.
– They all spoke Arabic and pushed us. At one point, I fell to the ground and they continued to paw at us. We cried and shouted for help, but no one helped us. There were 30 people surrounding us and touching us everywhere, said one of the victims afterwards.

At least two of the female victims are Germans, writes Junge Freiheit.
– We tried to defend ourselves from them, my friend beat them and gave them ear files, but they just laughed and continued to harass us. I had 15 hands on me, says one of the vulnerable Germans, who comes from Mannheim, to the news agency Ansa.
The police have now identified 18 suspected perpetrators. Of these, 15 are adults and three are minors. The men are of North African descent and between 15 and 21 years old. Some of them have been granted Italian citizenship, local media report. Giornale that most of the perpetrators are Egyptians who regularly visit the site.
– They are almost always there, mostly in the afternoon and especially on weekends. They harass all the girls who pass by, they pursue them and shout for them. And they try to answer, they surround one and paw at one, if they get the chance, the witness says.
The Arabs are also usually said to be armed with knives.
