After the manufacturers Asus, Gigabyte and MSI, ASRock has now also presented its new mainboards for Intel Core i-12000. A total of 13 boards with the manufacturer's Z690 chipset are accompanying the market launch of the initially three new hybrid processors Core i9-12900K, i7-12700K and i5-12600K from the 12th core generation.
Simple micro-ATX board costs 176 euros
At prices from 176 to 640 euros, the Z690 motherboards from ASRock will appear on the same date as the new hybrids of the Alder Lake generation and will therefore also attract buyers from November 4th. In terms of price, the ASRock motherboards are at least at the top below the Asus products, which will go on sale with a recommended price of 218 to 1,947 euros.
Unlike Asus, MSI and Gigabyte, ASRock is increasingly relying on the “old” memory standard DDR4 and only sends four of a total of thirteen Z690- Mainboards for Alder Lake-S with RAM up to DDR5-6400 (OC) in the race.
In the previous generation, DDR4-5000 (OC) reached the upper limit of what is maximally possible with the help of an XMP profile.
To the product ranges Z690 Phantom Gaming and Z690 Taichi, which are traditionally aimed at gamers in particular, ASRock has also published corresponding announcement videos on YouTube.
