Lars Vilks, who is known for having portrayed the Muslim prophet Muhammad as a roundabout, died together with two police officers in a fatal crash on Sunday.
Within the Swedish establishment, it is already several who have accused Lars Vilks of being racist and Islamophobic. After the death announcement, the comments about the artist have mostly been polite from the left.
An exception is the left-wing academic Ylva Habel, who goes so far as to accuse Lars Vilks of having targeted genocide.

She has locked her account on Twitter after receiving criticism for the post about Vilks.
Fria Times has unsuccessfully tried to reach Ylva Habel for a comment.
