– We have technical problems with the bank ID service and are troubleshooting. There is still no forecast when the error can be remedied, said Malin Wemnell, press officer at bank ID, to TT at 4.30 pm on Sunday.
Bank ID is used by virtually all Swedes who use digital payment solutions. This is in principle mandatory because the banks in Sweden have had many companies abolish cash.
– This involves 15-20 million uses during a full day, Wemnell tells TT.
