Toyota has announced its program for the Dakar 2022 where it will be & agrave; present with a team of four crews , led by the three-time champion Nasser Al-Attiyah . The competition will start; on January 2, 2022 in Saudi Arabia. The pilots will have the opportunity to debut the new GR DKR Hilux , developed according to the guidelines of the T1 class.
THE CREWS 
Nasser Al-Attiyah will have as navigator Mathieu Baumel. Giniel de Villiers will run with navigator Dennis Murphy. Henk Lategan and Brett Cummings will race together, while Shameer Variawa will be & agrave; paired with Danie Stassen. The new vehicle & egrave; currently being tested.
