Domestic. The Public Prosecutor's Office has initiated a preliminary investigation into the use of children for sexual posing against Member of Parliament Hanif Bali, reports Ekot. Bali, which denies the allegations, is taking time out from politics while the investigation is ongoing.

“The media attention linked to this makes it difficult to act in the assignment as a member of parliament. This is in no way an admission of guilt in the accusations leveled against him but a routine measure that follows from our candidate declaration. Now we leave it to the judiciary to try this. ” writes the Moderates' group leader in the Swedish Parliament, Tobias Billström, to Ekot.
It was during the morning that the Public Prosecutor's Office announced that a preliminary investigation had been launched against Bali regarding suspicions of exploiting children for sexual posing.
