Abroad. Damien Tarel spent several months in prison after giving French President Emmanuel Macron an ear file. Now he is a free man again, reports RT.

– I have no regrets, says Damien Tarel to BFM TV about the ear file.
He continues:
– I regret the use of physical violence. But it was just a small ear file. I think Macron has recovered extremely well, he says.
Tarel adds that he now intends to take part in the large demonstrations against vaccine passes being held around France.
It was in June as Damien Tarel attacked Emmanuel Macron, who was then greeting voters during a visit to Tain-l'Hermitage outside the city of Valence.
– Montjoie and Saint-Denis! Down with macronism, Tarel shouted when he gave the left-liberal president an ear file.
The former is a reference to a medieval battle cry.
Damien Tarel stated in court that he had acted impulsively.
– When I saw his friendly, lying look, which sought me out as a voter, I was filled with disgust, Tarel explained according to BBC News.
