The alleged attack on the 20-year-old quickly led to demonstrations against “homophobia” in Spain.
He claimed that he was beaten by eight masked men at the entrance to his home in Madrid. The gang shouted homophobic slogans and then cut the word “maricón”, a derogatory word for homosexuals, on his buttocks, the 20-year-old stated.
