Mazda announced the Model Year 2022 of its CX-5 (here the our test). The new model will be; available in Europe from the end of the year . In addition to some novelties; of design, the vehicle will offer; the mode selector; Mi-Drive driving, improved road behavior, new more differentiated configurations, improvements to the passenger compartment and a more; wide range of safety equipment.

DESIGN AND INTERIORS 
As for the cockpit of the CX-5 2022, we now find in the center console a housing for wireless charging of the smartphone. For ease of loading, the two-piece reversible load compartment shelf and tailgate sill are on the same level.
Customers will be able to choose between three versions: Newground, Homura and Signature . The former features the lower part of the front and rear bumpers and door trims in silver, black rear-view mirrors, lime green accents on the grille and 19-inch alloy wheels with black cutouts. The interior combines suede upholstery with lime green stitching and climate vents.
The latter, on the other hand, offers a glossy black finish for the grille, wings, lower sections of the bumpers, wheel arches, door moldings and exterior mirrors. The 19-inch alloy wheels are finished in metallic black while the grille accents are red. Red are also the stitching on the black leather of the seats, steering wheel, gear lever and door panels.
Finally, the third has a homogeneous, single-color exterior and a glossy finish of the silver-colored 19-inch alloy wheels. Inside we find Nappa leather and real wood grain texture.
SECURITY 
Model Year 2022 introduces the Mi-Drive drive selector (Mazda intelligent Drive), which allows the driver to choose the mode; driving more & ugrave; appropriate at the touch of a command. In addition, some versions equipped with i-Activ AWD have the mode & agrave; Off-Road, which makes the driving more & ugrave; natural on unpaved and slippery surfaces.
Speaking of safety, Mazda CX-5 2022 can & ograve; rely on an updated range of i-Activsense safety systems which now includes Cruising & amp; Traffic Support (CTS) which reduces driver fatigue by assisting him with accelerator, brake and steering when involved in traffic jams.
