The transport sector & egrave; among the most important objectives; sensitive to cyber-crime: the technology and the evolution of recent years has in fact led to an ever greater network connection, and therefore to an increase in exposure to the dangers of hacker attacks (see in this sense what recently happened in Iran). The collaboration announced today in Paris between Alstom and Airbus CyberSecurity moves in this directionto protect the railway system with innovative measures and services.

This is an operation that the actors involved consider necessary for the progressive digitization process of the entire sector, which in recent years has led railway companies to implement information systems that combine IT, OT (operating technology) and IoT in the management and control system of trains, subways and trams, as well as signaling systems on the tracks and control centers of railway operations.

These are the words of Eddy Thesee, Alstom's VP CyberSecurity:

In the context of an increasing number of cyber threats around the world in all sectors, Alstom aims to protect its assets and those of its customers in the most effective and timely as possible. The collaboration between Alstom and the proven Airbus CyberSecurity specialist will guarantee; future employment and mobility success green all over the world.

As specialists in the cyber-security of industrial systems, and particularly in the transport sector, we are excited to contribute to the protection of information systems in the railway sector together with Alstom,

echoes Nicolas Razy, Director of Airbus CyberSecurity France.

In particular, the collaboration between the two realities; will focus su:

  • provision by Airbus of services and solutions for monitoring the safety of railway systems through the Security Operations Centers (SOC) and in response to incidents
  • provision of security control services and & quot; penetration and intrusion tests & quot;

In all this I will play; the know-how of Alstom, leader in the construction of trains and railway infrastructures, plays a fundamental role.
