Abroad. The high-profile Republican senator Lindsey Graham in the United States is attracting attention by announcing that he has tested positive for covid-19. This despite the fact that he is already fully vaccinated against the disease.

“I was just informed by the congressional doctor that I have tested positive for covid-19 after being vaccinated,” Lindsey Graham wrote on Twitter on Monday night.
He continues:
“I started getting flu-like symptoms on Saturday night and went to the doctor this morning.”
The senator further writes that he has mild symptoms and that he will be quarantined for ten days.
“Otherwise, my symptoms would have been much worse”, he states on Twitter.
I feel like I have a sinus infection and at present time I have mild symptoms.
I will be quarantining for ten days.
I am very glad I was vaccinated because without vaccination I am certain I would not feel as well as I do now.
My symptoms would be far worse.
