In the month of June 2021 in Europe , the Tesla Model 3 is; was the second most & ugrave; sold in absolute , behind only the Volkswagen Golf. Of course, the American car is first in the ranking relating to electric cars. This interesting data emerges from a report by Jato Dynamics which took a picture of the European car market in June. According to what emerged, 1,268,683 vehicles were registered in the 26 European markets this month.
This is an increase of 13% compared to June 2020. However, the pre-pandemic values are still far away given that in 2019 about 1.47 million cars were registered and in 2018 as many as 1 , 6 million. Looking at the first 6 months of the year, there were 6.41 million registrations, an increase of 27% compared to 2020, but with a decrease of 23% if you want to make a comparison with the first half of 2019.

Electric and Plug-in cars still achieved an excellent result in June 2021 with a total market share of 18.5%, compared to 8.2% in 2020. In detail, there were 126,000 registrations of BEV models and 104,000 registrations of PHEV cars . The question is; grown across Europe, but significant increases in market share were recorded in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Ireland and Germany.
