Porn viewing has increased during the pandemic

Domestic. In a new Swedish survey, as many as 60 percent answer that their “digital sex habits” have changed in various ways during the pandemic. For men, it is mainly about increased porn viewing while women have used more sex toys.

The new report from Lelo shows that 45 percent of Swedes have not had any new sexual contacts during the pandemic.

Traditional meeting places such as restaurants and the like have been replaced by apps and other digital alternatives .

About one in ten state that they date online and only two percent have met new people at the pub in the past year.

At the same time, 60 percent also state that their “digital sex habits” has changed during the pandemic. More than one in ten men watch more porn now than before the pandemic.

Among women, however, interest in porn has not increased much. Instead, the report shows that several women “explored the range” of sex toys during the pandemic. Only one percent of women had watched more porn during the pandemic. Five times as many, however, had “discovered sex toys”.
