– We intend to ensure that there is no spontaneous cruising, says local area police Christer Bartholdsson in a statement .
The municipality has set up eleven roadblocks, eight manned and three unmanned, during the weekend to prevent such cruising. The roadblocks have been set up in the central parts of Falkenberg around Tullbron, Rådhustorget and Stortorget, as well as Klittervägen by Skrea beach, the municipality writes on the website.
