Thermaltake is now offering the Toughram RGB, which was previously available in the standard colors black and white, with a more eye-catching surface. In addition to the DDR4 desktop kits, some of which are already available in “Racing Red” and “Metallic Gold”, there will soon be a choice of modules with heat conducting plates in “Racing Green” or “Turquoise”.
For the two color variants of the Toughram RGB in “Racing Red” and “Metallic Gold”, which stand out from the crowd, which have already been released for sale, Thermaltake applies a surcharge of around 30 euros at the RRP, while the retail trade sometimes applies it comes up with lower prices than the standard black version. The recommended retail price in the manufacturer's shop is 164.90 euros (red) or 169.90 euros (gold).

Apart from the heat conducting sheet in a different color, nothing has changed in terms of the novelties according to the published specifications of the RAM. It stays in the XMP profile with usual timings of CL18-19-19-39 and a moderate supply voltage of 1.35 volts. The large-area light bar, in which the RGB LEDs are housed, remains the distinctive feature of the RAM family.
