In addition to the new L-series monitors for consumers, Lenovo has also introduced displays for commercial use in the ThinkVision family. The T24m-20 is a 24-inch monitor with Full HD and USB-C. The ThinkVision M15 is compact and portable. There is also a monitor webcam.
ThinkVision T24m-20
In the meantime, Lenovo also attaches great importance to a slim design with a narrow display bezel for office monitors, as is the case with the T24m-20. The narrow frame should also be an advantage in multi-monitor operation. The 24-inch monitor has an IPS panel with full HD resolution, 60 Hz refresh rate and 8-bit color depth. The DisplayPort output allows multiple displays to be daisy-chained. The combination of a USB-C port (up to 65 watts), four USB-A sockets and a Gigabit Ethernet connection turns the monitor into a docking station for mobile devices. A smartphone holder is integrated in the height-adjustable stand.
The T24m-20 should be available this fall at a price of 253 euros. Lenovo states the prices for these business products without VAT.
ThinkVision M15
The ThinkVision M15 is also planned for autumn. This is a portable second monitor for on the go, which provides a larger picture in tandem with a smartphone or tablet. The M15 has two USB-C ports for this: the power supply unit is connected to the upstream port, while data and image signals are received at the downstream port and up to 65 watts are available as a power supply.
The IPS panel delivers Full HD on 15.6 inches and has 8 bit color depth with a small color range (45% NTSC). While the display can be tilted by 90 degrees, the height adjustment is minimal with a margin of only 10 mm. With dimensions of 245.5 × 360.0 × 108.4 mm, the M15 weighs only 860 grams. On the sides of the stand there are switches for brightness control and for the low blue light mode.
Although most of the key data can be read like the consumer counterpart L15 Mobile presented at the same time and the design is almost identical except for the black color, the ThinkVision costs 294 euros before taxes, much more than the L15 for 229 euros including taxes. The business class has its surcharge, but also offers additional certifications (Energy Star, TÜV Rheinland Flicker Free) and another software package (Lenovo ThinkColour).
ThinkVision MC50 Monitor Webcam
In September, the ThinkVision MC50 monitor camera will also be available as an optional addition to monitors of the P and T series of the “-20” generation. Here, too, there are parallels to the consumer area for which the LC50 was presented. With the same resolution of 1,920 × 1,080 pixels, the RGB sensor with 90 ° field of view and the double microphone with noise cancellation, there are some differences. The MC50 can not only be tilted, but also rotated (swivel). In addition, it is not installed magnetically on the monitor, but using hooks that are locked with a key. There is also a lock to prevent unwanted recordings and a red light to indicate the active recording. The price is 99 euros before taxes.
