About 3 months after the launch of the new 308, Peugeot presented the station wagon version . This new model will arrive; in dealerships during the month of January 2022 . Prices for the Italian market have not yet been disclosed. Let's see all the main details of this new car.

DESIGN AND INTERIORS 
The new Peugeot 308 station wagon measures 4,636 mm length x 2,062 mm width (mirrors open) x 1,444 height, with a wheelbase of 2,732 mm. The trunk can & ograve; count on a capacity; of 608 liters (548 liters the Plug-in) which can & ograve; reach up to 1,634 liters (1,574 liters for the Plug-in) by folding down the rear seat backrests. The car is based on an evolution of the EMP2 platform.
The design echoes that of the 5-door hatchback version with a sharp front and headlights that feature LED technology from the first level of preparation. In front we also find the new Peugeot logo inside a large grille. The new 308 estate also features sculpted sides that help create a sleek line. Behind we find the Full LED optical groups of the 5-door version but without the black band that unites them.
The rear is; it has also been designed to optimize airflows and improve, thus; aerodynamics. The French manufacturer declares a Cx of 0.277 . The new Peugeot 308 station wagon will be; available in 7 colors. Thanks to the larger dimensions, the passenger compartment can offer occupants more space. Obviously, the setting is that of the 5-door version. We therefore find the digital instrumentation on a 10-inch screen since the Active Pack set-up. From the GT version, the instrument panel becomes three-dimensional.
Inside, the new one also stands out. connected infotainment system Peugeot i-Connect with support for Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The screen has a 10-inch diagonal. Navigation services are provided by TomTom and maps are updated via OTA. There is also a voice assistant. People, with their voice, will be able to manage some functions of the car.
ENGINES AND SAFETY 
Just like the 5-door version, the new 308 station wagon also offers a wide range of engines. We find unit & agrave; petrol, diesel and Plug-in. Speaking of endothermic engines, the French brand offers the following models:
- PureTech 110 S & amp; S with 6-speed manual gearbox
- PureTech 130 S & amp; S with manual gearbox 6-speed
- PureTech 130 S & amp; S with 8-speed EAT8 automatic gearbox
- BlueHDi 130 S & amp; S with 6-speed manual gearbox
- BlueHDi 130 S & amp; S with 8-speed EAT8 automatic transmission
Much more interesting the two Plug-in versions which are always the same as the 5-door version. We therefore have the HYBRID 225 e-EAT8 with 225 hp (162 kW) and the HYBRID 180 e-EAT8 with 180 hp (132 kW). In both cases & egrave; present a battery with a capacity; of 12.4 kWh. Autonomy in mode electric only goes up to 60 km (59 km the Hybrid 225).
Speaking of safety, we find the latest ADAS solutions from the French manufacturer. In particular, it will be & agrave; available the Drive Assist 2.0 package which is; consisting of Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & amp; Go function (with EAT8 automatic gearbox), Lane Keeping Assist, Semi-automatic Lane Change, Anticipated speed recommendation and Curve speed adaptation.
