Project from the community: case modding with copper and wood thanks to lockdown

From the community comes a project which aimed to create a case mod made of copper and wood and which, according to the responsible community member “minimii”, should serve as “manual compensation” in the final lockdown . A first revision of the custom case has already been announced in the forum.

Is that already a project? Yes!

With his project “Budget Open Case with wood – is that a project?” to do the same.

His case mod made of wood will later work with copper pipes in a loop, which is why further research is currently being carried out and a new revision of the case is also already planned .

More about this in the ComputerBase forum:

  • [Project] Budget Open Case with wood – is that already a project?

The current status of the case mod can also be seen absolutely, as the very positive feedback and praise from the community reveals.

With his contributions in the forum, the author takes the reader with pictures on a journey through the development process of his case mod. The creator was initially interested in “the mere feasibility”, which is why he then simply “made the modding quick”.

Case Mod and wood instead of camping and beer

The community member actually intended to “mow the lawn” on the campsite and drink “a beer”, but things turned out differently. The hobbyist already had some experience.

The topic of “copper pipes” instead of soft tubes or hard tubes has been appealing to me for a while . However, the effort is always a deterrent, I haven't even worked with hard tubes.

Questions and suggestions as well as praise and criticism about the project in the comments to this message and in the forum are, as always, expressly welcome.
