It's not customizable RGB lighting, but with the Hammerhead True Wireless X Earbuds, Razer brings lighting to wireless in-ear headphones. The touch surface of the earphones glows green and thus illuminates the manufacturer's logo. Brightness and lighting effect can be adjusted via the Razer audio app.
Breathing effect and gaming mode
In addition to static lighting, the “breathing” effect can also be activated via the app. The brightness can be adjusted in five levels. The new model also offers Razer's gaming mode for low latency. As with the Hammerhead True Wireless (test) and Hammerhead True Wireless Pro (test), this reduces the latency to up to 60 ms, so that the delay between image and sound is significantly lower, for example when playing mobile games.

At 13 mm, the drivers are larger than the last time with the Hammerhead TWS Pro. The frequency response goes from 20 Hz to 20 kHz. Razer states that the sensitivity is 91 db @ 1 mW/1 kHz. With Bluetooth 5.2 and support for Google Fast Pair, the newer technology is also used. SBC and AAC are supported as audio codecs. As mentioned, it is operated via touch and can be adjusted via the app. While each earbud should weigh 10 g, the weight of the charging case is 42 grams.
LED lighting costs battery life
The total battery life in connection with the charging case is Razer with up to 24 hours with activated lighting. The earphones should last up to 6 hours on one charge, the charging case provides a further 18 hours. Without LED lighting, it should increase to up to 28 hours – 7 hours for the earphones, 21 hours with the charging case. The charging case is charged via USB-C.
