EK-Nucleus series: AiO water cooling systems with LC display start in October

In a completely new all-in-one cooler family, EK Water Blocks has announced five models that are cheaper as EK-Nucleus AIO Lux and more expensive as EK-Nucleus AIO Vision with display expand. Both water cooling systems will come with a 240 and 360 radiator, the entry point being marked by a 120 model.

New pump unit partly with LC display

In addition to the compact water cooling of the EK-AIO series, which was offered for the first time last year, with radiators of size 240, 280 and 360 mm, which are available under the names EK-AIO 120 D-RGB, EK-AIO 240 D-RGB and EK-AIO 360 D- RGB, followed by the EK-Nucleus series, another comprehensive product family of all-in-one solutions.

Unlike before, EK Water Blocks relies on a display placed above the pump unit measuring 82.3 × 69.2 × 61.6 mm (W × D × H), which is available in the EK-Nucleus-AIO-Vision model series as an LC Panel can display selected system parameters, among other things. In contrast, the cheaper cooling systems of the EK-Nucleus AIO Lux series have light-emitting diodes in the upper part of the transparent pump cover. According to the manufacturer, this can be rotated in 90 degree steps and thus above all align the manufacturer's logo with the conditions in the installed state.

With the newly developed pump unit of an unknown type compared to the first all-in-one cooling, EK Water Blocks has also revised connections and hoses in the EK-Nucleus series. This should contribute to better stability and reliability and prevent possible space problems during installation.

The water cooling systems of the EK-Nucleus AIO Lux series are divided into the three typical radiator sizes 120, 240 and as EK-Nucleus AIO CR120 Lux D-RGB, EK-Nucleus AIO CR240 Lux D-RGB and EK-Nucleus AIO CR360 Lux D-RGB 360 mm available. As usual, the size of the radiator, in conjunction with the built-in fans, has a significant influence on the expected cooling performance. Depending on the cooling, one, two or three fans with 120 mm are installed, which, like in the EK-AIO line, come up with RGB lighting in the rotor.

EK only offers the more expensive EK-Nucleus AIO Vision model series, which is located in the premium segment, in two versions with a 240 and 360 heat exchanger. The fan models used do not differ from those of the Lux siblings. The only visible distinguishing feature is the upper part of the pump unit. The Vision pump block has a 2.1 inch LC display, which, as already known from a number of competitors in the class, can display either system information or your own graphics and images.

Will not be delivered until September/October

In the EK Water Blocks online shop, all new PC cooling systems can now be pre-ordered slightly below the respective RRP. Prices start at around 92 euros * for the 120 model, 121 euros * for the Lux version with 240 radiator, while the most powerful cooler without a display currently costs 155 euros *. For compact water cooling with a 240 version display, EKWB charges 203 euros *, while the largest Vision cooler to date costs 232 euros *. Deliveries to the first buyers should begin in September. The more expensive offshoots with display will not be delivered to pre-orderers until October.
