He has previously designed cars for the fine brand Aston Martin, but has now started American car production together with Geeta Gupta-Fisker. The two have met representatives of the Vatican, and came home with an order for a car of the model Ocean electric. Cost: around SEK 325,000 in the USA. Cars have long been of interest to the pope. They often travel in bulletproof so-called papal mobiles after the assassination attempt on John Paul II in 1981. However, the football fanatic Francis seems to have a certain interest in cars, and he marked his first time as pope driving a Ford Escort from 1976, but has switched to more environmentally friendly vehicles. Last year, he acquired a Toyota Mirai that is partly powered by hydrogen. However, the Pope's standard car is often a Mercedes-Benz.
