Pride bands for 2021
You can now get the new Pride Edition Braided Solo Loop, a braided band in a variety of colors. It contains the colors of the original rainbow flag, with the colors of the various Pride flags. This should radiate even more diversity compared to previous editions. Black and brown stand for the Black and Latinx communities, but also for people who have died of HIV/AIDS. Light blue, roses and white represent transgender and non-binary people. The band is made from stretchy, recycled yarn with silicone threads. This is very comfortable and no closure or pin is required.
Just like with the normal braided solo bands, you have to choose from 12 different sizes, both in 40mm and 44mm. They are suitable for all generations of Apple Watch, from Series 0 to the current Series 6.
The Pride dial shows the different colors of the watch strap. When you get to the Digital Crown you get an animation of the wires. Even when you turn your wrist, the wires move.
Nike Pride 2021
There is also a new Pride Edition Nike Sport Loop. It shows the six colors of the original rainbow and is reflective, so you can also play sports safely outside. During running, walking and cycling, the strap is extra noticeable. This Sport Loop is extra comfortable and goes well with the accompanying watch face.
Also new is that Apple has now added an App Clip function on the packaging, so you can easily find the corresponding watch face. You can read how to set new watch faces in a separate tip.
