In February, Fisker announced that it had signed a memorandum of understanding with Foxconn for the development of a new electric vehicle whose production would start in the fourth quarter of 2023. The electric car < strong> sar & agrave; made in America although at the moment it is not & egrave; still been specified where. However, the two companies are looking down ahead and are studying the opening of further factories to be able to produce 250,000 vehicles per year.
Speaking of this new model, Fisker only added that pogger & agrave; on the new platform called & quot; FP28 & quot; which will be jointly developed with Foxconn. The car will be proposed in North America, China, Europe and India. It will therefore be a global model. Unfortunately there is no technical information on the motor and battery. Project PEAR, once on the market, could enter into direct competition with the $ 25,000 & quot; Tesla & quot; of which so much is & egrave; speculated in the past.
This model will be; Fisker's second. The first, in fact, is; the well known SUV Ocean which will be & agrave; built thanks to a collaboration with Magna.
