Media. A hundred-year-old era goes to the grave when the Hjörne family now completely leaves their media group Stampen Media, which, among other things, publishes Göteborgs-Posten. It reports GT.

Stampen media has now been acquired up to almost 100 percent by NWT Gruppen AB, Norwegian Polaris Media AS and VK-Media AB.

The remaining share of the company, 0.009 percent, is owned of the trade unions, writes GT.

The liberal family Hjörne is thus completely bought out of the group, which was founded when Harry Hjörne bought Göteborgs-Posten in 1926.

– With the stability that exists in Today is a good time to hand over all responsibility to a major owner with the same long-term attitude and focus on journalism and to continue to develop the newspapers, says Peter Hjörne in a press release.

Peter Hjörne will, however, continue as lead writer at GT until next fall.
