The Germans and the bread-and-butter

Germany is known for its bread culture and the traditional bread-and-butter in all its forms: whether as a snack, a Snack on the go or supper. For 20 years, even the day of the German butter bread.

The CMA no longer exists, but the feast day of the buttered cuts lives on.

    The “brotzeit” is the hearty Bavarian variant, whether in the evening, with beer, on a hike or as a second Breakfast. Here, too, bread, pretzels, and Butter are essential.

    For school children is as important as ever: the break bread. Sometimes sweet and sometimes savory evidenced by the folding are sandwiches often plastered before the first big break. Adults also take you on trips and in the profession, fond of self-lubricated butter sandwiches.
