For two months, Dirk Nowitzki is no active basketball star, but a world-renowned privateer. The 41-Year-old now spends his time mainly with family and do things he could do before.
Even for Dirk Nowitzki, the A3 is not manageable. The 41-Year-old has skipped many of his opponents just as many balls under the basket against the best players in the world in the American basketball League, the NBA won. But against a full closure of the highway in the height of Bad Camberg on early Wednesday morning, the world star from Würzburg can do nothing.
Before not too long ago would have found other ways, the club would have made a quick workaround and solutions sought. Maybe he would have brought the trip anyway in a helicopter instead of in the private car behind. Finally, players in this category are capital for the club, as such banalities may play no role. But these times are over for Nowitzki.

Nowitzki seems to enjoy his new life and to get used to the idea of living without the daily Sport – even if he is still in the middle of the processing process.
