With “Captain Marvel” comes a new nerve powerful super heroine on the big screen. This could be a Blockbuster in the cinema. But a woman as a fighting machine – can it work?
Captain Marvel is a woman, and what for. Anywhere where the super heroine of the latest movie from the Comic book Franchise Marvel’s appearance, spraying spark, shoot flame, and fly, people like missiles through the air.
The story of the new blockbuster from the Marvel universe is quickly told: The earth races by the struggle of two Alien, the Kree and the Skrull, threatened. Carol Danvers (Brie Larson), alias Captain Marvel, then, not to save only the earth, but also the conflict between the Kree and Skrull simple. “I don’t know where my strength comes from,” puzzled Danvers, which does not need a weapon, because it is itself a weapon.

Larson, which was awarded in 2016 for her role in “Room” with an Oscar, is so far mainly through their work and roles in independent film productions and for her feminist commitment known. Kevin Feige is an American film producer who has produced the Marvel Comic film adaptations, said in an Interview with the US entertainment sheet “Entertainment Weekly” that there are “many reasons” why this Film has not been rotated. “Last but not least, he fought for many years against the erroneous idea that the audience wanted to see because of a series of films 15 years ago that did not work, no heroine more,” he explained. That films with women in a leading role get good reviews, but is rather the exception. Often enough it comes to “Review-Bombings”, the mass anger-reviews, the work of the female cast. This happens sometimes before the movie started and the audience has seen the Film at all. Also Blockbuster, such as the Remake of “Ghostbusters” in the year 2016 or the Film “Ocean’s 8” were victims of such “Review-Bombings”.
This should now be final. Rotten Tomatoes has it at 25. February 2019 introduced, that reviews can only be made after the official movie start posted. Also, the comment function is only enabled after the Start of the film.

The actress of the main character, Carol Danvers aka Captain Marvel was already covered after the release of the cinema trailer with absurd comments. There were no complaints, they “smile” enough. Brie Larson replied calmly: exactly these kind of comments would make this movie with a real super heroine is so important.
