The FC Schalke has become the search for a successor for sports Director Christian Heidel find it quickly. Different than expected, a surprise candidate comes with Jochen Schneider to Gelsenkirchen.
Jochen Schneider is to become the new sporting Director at FC Schalke 04. The 48-Year-old was previously a Team coordinator at Schalke’s Bundesliga competitor to RB Leipzig. Now he is the successor of Christian Heidel, who had declared on the Saturday after the 0:3 defeat to Schalke at Mainz 05 in his resignation. Schneider to a contract until 30. June 2022, and next Tuesday will be officially presented.
